Kayaking on Winnipesaukee - Eagles

This was a spectacular summer on the lake (2010). One of the bonuses this year was a nesting pair of Eagles I followed on the west side of Moultonborough Neck.

I arrived in early July and left the 1st of Sept., during that time was able to watch the hacthling's first flights and growth.

Seeing eagles on Lake Winnipesaukee must have been exciting. I've only seen eagles on Squam Lake. Although, my husband has seen them throughout the years on Lake Winnipesaukee.

I'll have to spend time looking for eagles' nests on Lake Winnipesaukee next year.

Perhaps we can get some pictures to post for everyone to see.
