Many New Hampshire restaurants that are the best mid priced Lake Winnipesaukee establishments are in a pub or tavern style. You can find these places to eat throughout the lakes region.

They offer typical pub fare as well as a casual dining experience for the whole family. Many of these pubs and taverns are popular with the locals who come in for a quick bite and a beer while watching a game on TV. Others come in with the family and stop by the bar to say hello to people they know.

The food is usually good with appetizers, entrees, desserts or some other specialty. Some provide music or comedy on weekends and others have activities for the kids around certain holidays.
